What Is a Bridge Prescription? Follow
A bridge prescription is a short-term refill that helps you avoid a lapse in treatment while we wait on something—like new lab results, a provider review, or a delayed consult.
When We Issue a Bridge Prescription
You may receive a bridge Rx if:
-
Your labs are due, but you’ve temporarily run out of medication
-
You’ve completed your consult, but the provider still needs to review final lab results
-
There’s a processing delay on your regular refill
-
Your regular prescription plan is being adjusted
What Does a Bridge Prescription Include?
-
1-month supply
-
No refills
-
Same dose and instructions as your most recent prescription
This is not a full renewal—it’s simply a one-time fill to "bridge" the gap between now and your next approved refill.
How to Request One
