Lab Process Overview and FAQs Follow
Follow-Up Lab Panels:
Your Hone Health membership includes on-going follow-up lab panels and consultations with your physician. The lab process and timelines varies based on whether you choose At-Home or At-Lab options.
Lab Options:
At-Home: Lab Kit - If you prefer to complete your testing in the comfort of your own home
- At the time of your follow-up testing an at-home blood testing kit will automatically be shipped to your home.
- The kit will include all necessary supplies for collecting your sample.
- Once you register your kit, and collect your sample/ All you need to do is ship your sample back with the pre-paid label.
- Once your kit arrives back to the lab, your sample will be processed in 3-4 business days.
- As soon as your lab results are available, they will be posted to your account for you and your doctor to review. You will be notified to schedule your consultation when this happens.
- At-Home Sampling Tips
At-Lab: Labcorp - If you prefer a professional to draw your blood for you
- If you prefer to let the professionals take care of your blood draw, your Hone membership affords you the option to complete your testing at any Labcorp location.
- A lab requisition form will be available in your patient files, when it is time to complete your follow up testing. It is important you access the lab requisition and provide the form when scheduling an appointment.
- As long as you present the lab requisition provided, there is no additional charge for Labcorp testing.
- Results sent to Hone Health in 2-3 days.
How to Complete Labcorp Testing:
- Schedule an appointment at the nearest Labcorp location.
- Print a copy of your requisition and bring it along.
- Labcorp sends results directly to Hone Health.
Viewing Lab Results:
- Log in at Hone Health.
- Navigate to "My Hone" > "Labs" to view results.
- Access PDF copies in the "Files" section.
Labs FAQs:
Do I need to fast before my test?
- Yes, fasting for 10-12 hours (water is fine) before the blood draw is recommended.
What if I don't collect enough blood on my sample card?
- Email a photo of the card to support@honehealth.com for review.
Can I have copies of my lab results?
- Access results anytime in your patient account under "Files."
Can I switch my test from at-home to at-lab?
- Yes, contact support@honehealth.com to switch preferences.

- Drink water and stay hydrated.
- Warm your hands.
- Exercise or swing arms to promote blood flow.
- Choose the right finger puncture site.
- Use a firm surface for proper depth.
- Massage from wrist to fingertip if a drop isn't forming.
- Consider trying a different finger.
